Tires rotated, but now which tire pressure reading to trust on the dashboard?

The mechanic who has been servicing my Camry SE, recently interchanged the tires, front to rear, rear to front. Is that proper?

How to trust/read the tire pressures on the dashboard. Websites mention resetting a TPMS button, but I can't find that button.

That rotation is a proper one. It's good to rotate front to rear and rear to front so they wear evenly because tires wear faster in the front. Unless you have a bad alignment. Usually reading the tire pressure on dash is accurate. But it won't read psi when at a cold start or not starting it for a couple hrs. Vehicle needs to be driving for pressures to be read. The reset button is the vehicle settings I believe

For my all wheel drive I rotate in an X pattern. If you aren’t AWD cross to the back and backs straight up to the front.

Idk about every vehicle, and year, but both my tacoma, and prius are fairly simple to access using the on screen menu. The display will show all four tires, and current pressures. Maybe your car has additional steps need using the menu buttons on the steering wheel. Otherwise try the owners manual, or a general search online for a video.

Like most statements saying "all" this one is not true. Many (most?) cars automatically track TPMS positions. Certainly, both of my cars do, one of them being a 2018 Camry. On the other car (a G80), I have a full size spare with TPMS. The car knows when the spare is switched in and correctly follows it position too.

No doubt that some cars require a relearn when TPMS are replaced, but "all" of them certainly do not.

On my summer tires, I fill up with 36 in front and 34 in the rear. It always comes up with those numbers on the display in correct order, regardless of what corner i Mount tires in spring.
Obviesly the tire sensor system spends 5 months a year looking for sensors as i skipped installing that on winter tires. For that amount of time, maybe it auto resets?

So when the original (noisy) tires were removed, and replaced with "Serenity" (much quieter) the process above should have been followed?

It seems the pressure reading on the dash is not necessarily accurate since calibration is required, right?

So accessing the ECU after tire rotation/relocation is not needed?
