ok so it aint that low, but it is noticeably lower and handles like its on rails... before we changed out the parts, i could move the back end up and down about 18 inches, now maybe 4...lol only hard part- didnt have a breaker bar for the bolts holding the struts to the wheels, fubar's a wrench and a sockets before we just went and bought one (and no, penetration oil didnt help, the impact would budge it!) oh and figuring out where the rear strut mounts were (under the back dash pad...)

oh and ya gotta wit till tomorrow for pics, was having to much fun with the ass dyno to take pics ;)... and the h&r/kyb is just what i was looking for, cant wait to get the fronts changed...lol

luckily i have an AWESOME friend who did the work, im laid up with my ankle again, in fact i shouldnt have been driving but i couldnt wait another day or 2 to try it out ;) my biggest word of advice to anyone doing this, if you still have stock factory originals, buy, rent borrow or steal a 30 inch plus breaker bar or get a HEAVY DUTY impact, my half inch impact wouldnt budge them bolts... now that we done it once doing another or redoing mine, might take 2 hours all told, its seriously that easy.

How much did it lower? I cant notice any difference. :( Not that I really care about lowering mine.....I just want a smooth ride. Mine is still a family car.

nice choice, I totally hear you on having to have it up a bit to make it around town. I have about 3 parts of the town that I work in considered "off limits" with the car, but the truck goes anywhere!

being in houston area i have to wrry more about high water and pot holes then anythign else, some down here are big enough you drive down one side and across the bottom... biggest hil in town is the ship channel bridge...lol but since i live in a podunk town, and the grocery store has speed bumps, i need some clearance, also my parents live way out in the sticks...and now n then i have to carry me, the wife, the 19 year old and the 12 year old all in the car... however i think even though its lower it wont be so bad, the new setup is alot less willing to move then the 130,000/11 year old stockers...lol (i am pretty sure the front where replaced, everything looked pretty new...
