Towing an 86 5spd

Hello, so I have a question, will I run into any issues towing my 86 5spd 4x4 for a long distance? This would be with a car dolly, so only the rear wheels would be rolling.
What I mean is, does the transmission need the engine running to be oiled, like an auto, or something along those lines?
I know most manual transmissions don't, but some do and I'm not familiar with how toyota does things so I'd like to be sure.

Being a 4x4 I'd just drop the rear drive shaft but the manual transmission doesn't use a oil pump, it relies on "splash" oiling.

Remove the rear driveshaft otherwise you’ll fry your transfer case.

But if the transfer case is in gear (aka not neutral) won't the input side spin as well?

I will probably just remove the driveshaft then, but I'm trying to learn more about the truck at least.

Yes, but then you’re spinning the output shaft of the transmission, with the same problem.

Just drop the driveshaft, just keep in mind if you have to remove the yoke from the transmission tail-shaft put a a bag over the end of it and secure it with zip ties or ?
Since the front is gonna be on a dolly the trans will leak oil.

There’s a companion flange on the output isn’t there? Not a slip yoke
