My wife took her 2023 Highlander Hybrid out this morning to run errands. As she arrived at her first destination, she noticed a warning in the dashboard display that the "TPMS malfunction Visit Your Dealer" It also showed all the tires as having no pressure. She inspected all the tires and they looked fine. When she started the car back up later, the same thing came on once again. After a couple of other stops, she noticed that the display was back to normal and the pressure in all the tires were fine and up to spec. Has anyone else had this happen? I wonder if it was just some king of glitch, or is the system trying to go out? Thanks in advance.

Same thing happened to us yesterday while we were traveling in our 2024 Highlander Hybrid with 6k miles on the odometer.

Pulled off the highway, checked the pressure in all 4 tires, started the car back up, and the warning cleared after a minute or two.

We stopped at a Toyota dealer and spent a couple of hours while they checked it out. They did not seem familiar with the issue and of course they found nothing.

We had no further issues over the remaining 350 miles of our trip.

Once you figure this out please post result. I would take vehicle to you tire store and have them check the sensors and relearn. By the way there is a reset button. Our Camry reset is in the glove box. The system has been perfect up to just now. 10 years expected life of sensor batteries, lasted 12 years. Your issue is different, but have sensors and reset checked. Should be free of charge at America’s Tires.

Hi dtown40,
I have a 2024 gas Highlander with the exact same issue. It's happened 3 times over 6 months now (twice in the last month). I managed to get a pic of the display error for the dealership, but it hasn't helped.
I'm taking it back again this week. They scanned for logged errors twice before and found nothing.
I don't know about the quick start issue mentioned, but it doesn't seem to fit my circumstances.
To top it all off, it's my wife's car, but it's somehow my problem.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE tell me you found an issue!
Thanks for sharing.
