I don't know I looked up to see if they have the same radiator for the corolla the part number is 16410-0H250 and for the tc its 16400-22190. they are different but that does not definitely mean its not the same cap but does not look good. also I looked up the oem cap part numbers corolla 16401-20353 and tc 16401-15520. again I don't know if it matters it seems the trd caps do work for more than one oem cap. I also called my local dealership and they were no help as usual they also hung up on me the first time I called. they are so bad they couldn't even tell me what fluid my transmission takes, I was trying to use Toyota transmission fluid when I changed it, after calling back 2 times they finally told me they use Valvoline, and Toyota doesn't make a manual transmission fluid. needless to say I don't trust them anyway.

 

Technically, the TRD caps are not even listed as being able to fit either 1.8 or 2.4 engined Corolla. Honestly, the best thing to do is take a chance and try.

Also, the reason why the part numbers are different is because of where they are assembled. The tC was Japan and the XRS was either US or Canada. Hence, they have different suppliers for likely the same part. I've seen this with air filters, so there's probably a lot of parts like that with Toyota if a certain model is made on two continents.

 

ok I think your right, ill just buy all of them and try them out they are not that expensive anyway.
