Hey everyone. My phone just auto updated the Toyota App to version 2.0.4 and now I get a constant trunk open notification on my Camry. Is anyone else experiencing this on version 2.0.4? It’s not a huge bug, but does make me a little paranoid.😂

Glad they fixed that at least!
Mine doesn't tell me it is locked, and I don't see any way to lock or unlock the vehicle like I can on my F150. Is this something I should be able to see/do?
You have to subscribe to Toyota’s Remote connect service. I’m glad your tire pressure is displaying correctly! At least they fixed something. Where it is showing the open trunk notification is within the vehicle status menu on the main page.

Mine is also doing this... Corolla XSE... Glad I found this post I ran out from work thinking my trunk was open:cautious:
Yeah same! I had to go out and check my car in the middle of the night.😑

Nope... false hope.
Happening again today.
Obviously not the app itself... it's something on the back end.
Yeah I wish they would fix it. At least the status on the main page is accurate.

Other than the trunk open warning, how is the app "broken"?
Mine has been fully functional in every way since I had issues in June of 2021, and the tech support group was prompt and helpful in resolving the issues.
Remote start works, remote lock/unlock work, tire pressure works, maintenance reminders work...
My only complaint is that some alerts hang around too long, like my wife's car has an alert for low washer fluid from the first week of May.

So here is a question - we have paid for the App (yes free for the first 12 months) and I have had my 22 XSE Hybrid 1 month.............. I think everyone needs to have their subscription extended for the same amount of time that the App is wrong. I spoke with Toyota about this and yes you can call for an extension. If the "trunk" is a big lie then, what else is the Toyota App lying about? Toyota not only needs to compensate now but, also in the future.

I completely agree with you, but I have yet to receive anything from them. All I get is they are aware of it. We are going on three weeks now of this issue and I just don’t think Toyota cares honestly. If they were serious about fixing it they would have made it a priority and put out an update weeks ago. Either way they need a new app development team. It’s just ridiculous. They probably read the App Store and google play reviews and just laugh at us.
