Well, a stock v6 wheel is 195-60-15 but I don't know the i4 stock size off the top of my head. What size wheels are the corolla's?

If you know the stock tire size for the i4 camry put it in on here and you can figure out what size tire is the closest match:

hey, the corolla rims are 15 x 6 rims.

the camry stock rims for the I4 are 14 x 5.5

The stock camry I4 tire size is 185/70R14

ok, I have 15x7 celica wheels on my 88 and they are VERY close to the rear struts, the offset is right and the spindles are centered in the wheels and the biggest tire i can run without rubbing is a 195-60-15, you are running a more narrow wheel so you should have some more clearance in the back. If you have alot more clearance or they hit, the offset is wrong and they wont be centered, any route, measure the diameter of the tire that belongs on the car and try not to get very far away from it

 

i bolted the rim up today and spun it around, everything was centered, they didnt wobble, or anything. there was a tire option for a 215/60-15, would that be just like yours? just alittle narrower on the sidewall

 

there is a tire size label on the drivers door jamb, measure that tire, and wobbling isnt good, but i meant be sure the spindle centerline and the wheel centerline intersect at the contact patch on the ground, it can be a little off and some cars are shipped that way, but if its real far apart, you will know it, easy way to check this is drive it onto smooth concrete and turn the wheels lock to lock, you should have a black spot or slight oval, if it is an arc, your setup is wrong

 

yea, well my dad is going to look at tires at work tomorrow, and im going to see if i cant round up some old tires for that size to slap on real quick and try. thank you all for the help, and if anyone has more ideas, let me know.

 

195 60 15 is the best fit if you want to keep your speedo correct.

 

ok so i tried a 195/65-15 tire on the rim and here's what i got:

Front: if i cut the wheel all the way, it rubs on the inside front (where there is a bolt on hard plastic piece)

Rear: the tire comes with in centimeters of the strut. makes me alittle nervous when i saw it.

So i guess im asking this, would the 195/60-15 work, or should i find something with a lower profile?
