Turn off backup camera grid lines?

I have a '22 LE with static grid lines in the backup camera display. I'd like to turn them off. I've searched around here and on the web (and in the manuals and menus) and have not found a way to do this. There is reference to cutting some wires in earlier Toyotas. I'd rather not cut wires, but if that's what it takes, I might do it.

Thanks for that. Interesting. That got me into the Diagnostic menu. On mine, it did not have the Camera Setting options. I checked the other menu items and nothing about the backup camera.

My previous Subaru Ascent was so much better in all this. Much wider and sharper view backup camera. Thin sharp dynamic grid lines. Way more info in the diagnostic menus. On the HL, it all seems so primitive. The backup camera and grid lines look like an early '80s VGA monitor. I really miss the wide view backing up.

...check your lower right corner for the icon to change the lines if you have it on the 8” screen...
Nope. It appears you only get those options if you have "dynamic" grid lines. Mine are static. When the backup view is showing, there are no touchscreen buttons on the display.
