I’m trying to turn my shitbox echo into the dumbest sleeper out there, I plan to add a turbo, new suspension, everything I possibly can to add power. Muffler delete and intake hose for air filter has been widened. Please let me know what kind of turbo and coil overs I should be looking into along with any power mods you hillbillies can think of!! You are shooting for 300 HP? I don't think the stock internals would hold up to that much horsepower.
To achieve that kind of horsepower level you would need a very large turbo along with supporting mods such as a big intercooler, larger injectors, higher capacity fuel pump, etc., etc. The exhaust system would need to be custom fabricated. A minimum of 2.5", but 3" would be closer to ideal.

A belt driven supercharger and nitrous. You will need a few extra engines for when your bottom end lets go, got one in my garage, I'll probably never use.
I've always thought there's room for a rear wheel drive conversion... but then again I'm old / crazy / unafraid of cutting large chunks of floorpan out.

I agree with sd speed's LS swab idea and rons rwd conversion idea. but that engine won't handle much and cost you more than an ls in the long run. also please please please keep us updated
