Yeah if you can tighten it just slightly, then you may be able to break where its stuck to the head and get it out easily. If that doesn't work, then try running the engine for a while to warm it up.

 

i was gonna say, is the car cold or warmed up?? especially on Aluminum head, they shrink in cold weather....so try warming it up till the head reaches room temperature... and WD40...

 

^^^we've tried both. i think someone screwed up with his head coz he said he hasn't cahnge that specific plug since he got it. anyways, thanks a lot for the responses guys..

The plug is siezed. If you use a impact wrench on it your gunna strip the fuck out of the threads and / or break the plug.

If it comes down to it your gunna have to pull the head, take it to a machine shop, and see if they can fix it.

 

If you plan on pulling the head, you might as well throw some leverage on the plug, if it breaks, its got to be extracted anyway.

 

so what if the insulator breaks? get a magnet and pull the rest of the plug out. put the smack down on it with it hot, if it breaks it breaks, life goes on. hopefully, the last person didnt cross-thread the plug and it has just seized. put a good steady, even pressure on it till it breaks and comes out
