vrrooOOOomBZZZZvrrrooOOOmBZZZ oh HELLS YEAH!, you know what that means SUCKAZ!!, it means the pee_cup is getting a nasty vibration between shifts @ 4000rpm . Harmonic -ass vibrating shitbox noises are eminating ( is that really a word?) from the shifter area. The Alpine is covering the valve tick but not this business, its too close to me, Id have to wear headphones on my phatty noggin to kill this noise. So what do I do?
I get home from another day at the Honduh dealership @ 8:30 and eat some ribs. I tried to sleep but I couldnt so at 9:30 Im outside on the side of my dark and busy effing street in my jammies pulling my shifter assembly apart . I took it for a drive, holding a flashlight and pulling the shift boots ( theres like flippin' 3 of them, gosh!) up so I could see the top of the shift assembly on the tranny.... in my jammies,
I couldnt 'sense the vibe' and decided it was my exhaust heat shield and I would straight-up slit its throat and kill it tomorrow. I go back to attempt sleep and by 10:30 I still cant sleep and next thing you know im out ... in my jammies, on the ground ripping the heat shield off the pee_cup. I take it for a test ride vrrrooOOOOOmBZZZZZZ AHHHHHHORSE'SASSS!!!!!!! the bad vibe still lives. Well I finally went to sleep around 3am and woke up for class @ 6am and when I got to school I gave her 4000rpm with my hand on the throttle and my head under the truck.
AHHH BEERSCHNITZELS!!!!11! MY DRIVESHAFT CAUGHT ON FIRE!!!! no im just kiddin, that didnt happen but I found the stupid harmonic-ass vibrating shitbox that CARB so lovingly calls a "CATALYTIC CONVERTER" It seems to be just the outer shell/shield not the Honeycomb cereal on the inside. im gonna "git 'r done" with a sawzall and roll like king charles after that thing is gone.
