It's a bit strange that 89541-07040 supersedes 89541-07030 beginning in the 2002 model year, but yet the diagram for the 2003 model shows what looks to be a separate part. Just wondering if 89541-07040 is really a totally different part in that beginning in the 2002 model year, Toyota separated that module from the ABS actuator. Sure looks that way, in the diagram below. My interpretation of the parts diagram is that this module is located on or near the firewall in the engine bay, passenger side.

Just to let people know, my mechanic was able to find out that Traction Skid Control Computer Assembly Module 89541-07040 is located under the dash behind the glove box.

That's great to know. The diagram could be interpreted that way, but I did not interpret the diagram that way. What kind of issue do you have that you are looking where this module is located?
