I started out on C-3 and didn't care to much for it myself, they kept flaming some guy that ripped em off.

I then came here (which is now a almost daily venture)

I checked out corolla customz today and am thinking of joining there

Yah, that's probably Duayne from ELC Motorsports. They have been flaming him/ELC over at VVTI.net also. I have been over there today.
ELC offers a lot of cool mods for Corollas that cant be found anywhere else, however, it seems a lot of people order stuff and then never get it, plus get no responses to their inquirys. Their web site is up and down all the time. I got my strut bar through them but I waited three months and three un-answerd Emails to get it.

So far the quality of posting on these two sites is lacking.
On the age/car thread at VVTI most people were 15-22 with auto-trans 96-03 Corollas that thier parents bought them but they are proud because they "pay for all their own mods". Which is like $100-$5,000 vs a $16,000 car... so :roll: I don't know.

 

I thought they closed c3 because he couldn't afford it anymore?
I remember getting a e-mail asking for money to keep them going.

I've heard so much $h!t about ELC I never even seen there site (do they even have one?) should I check it out or stick with ebay and pray?

RIght now kodiak is in the process of setting up the new board, should look good. Plus its T.O based so u can hit the meets.

I think it's what the business of C3 eventually became after it shut down. Don't know what it means, unfortunately.

The CC board is good though. They guys there are indeed very friendly. And they're not very flamey. Even if you do disagree with them.
