My weak tailgate and harsh ride TSB's were completed 10/12/07 after waiting for about a month for parts and for my new tailgate to be painted.

Here is the invoice, itemizing was done (Rodland Toyota in Everett)

what

The truck is raked a bit. I was seriously considering getting in on the Bilstein group buy, but after seeing the completed truck I'm not concerned about the rake. You can just see the new blue Bilstein shocks in this view. I think it rides better, but the real test will be the next time I put on the travel trailer.

Here is what the new leafs look like:

This is a shot up into the top of the tailgate. I don't see a difference between this and the old tailgate.

I can't see sh!@ either..... is it me or does it look like he still has 3 leaf springs and also, the tailgate doesn't look different to me.
No the the new leaf pak is there, I can see the helper spring (barely) in the one of his rear wheel. I did laughed when I read the beginning of your post, kinda a pun off your screen name. :D & figured you meant it that way!

What someone needs to do is label the inside of their tailgate before going in for the replacement TSB (if it's not damaged), and see if they actually GET a different one!

 Then we'll know if they even replaced it! Next question would be "What did they change?".

I'd be wondering if they even replaced it if it looks the same, and you didn't come in with it damaged.

He's got the new leaves, no doubt. The pictures show them. He will be a happy Taco owner!
