On my 2018 SE I4 if I turn my car off and sit in it for a little before I get out it will make a strange sound like something is humming, sounds kinda like when you first put the key in before you begin to turn on the car to start driving. I thought it may be a pump or something moving but I don't know much about engine components. The sound lasts for like 2-3 seconds and happens about 4 min after turning my car off. Hopefully its normal.. /:

My SE just has a foot pedal for the brake. Can you get the electric brake on the SE? I can't say I hear anything after I shut mine off.
It could be be the car performing Evap leak test; Its is explained on page six of the 2018 Manual. I know you mentioned I4, but is it a hybrid Camry? I know that Hybrids make the sound you have described, which happens in less than 10 mins, after the car has been turned off.
"Approximately five hours after the engine is turned off, you may hear sound coming from under the vehicle for several minutes. This is the sound of a fuel evaporation leakage check and, it does not indicate a malfunction."
This is from the FR-s manual and other Toyotas are anywhere from 2-10 minutes.
Not sure why the FR-s is so far out, but it may be the mindset that they are driven harder.
