I know this a known problem with the upgraded premium sound package. Just trying to get some ideas on what to do about it. Im not too familiar with audio so I need help. I spoke with a reputable audio store in my area & he told me it cant be replaced. He said the only thing I can do is try to fix the problem. I dont believe that.

The subwoofer does not rattle, but it causes the rear parcel shelf to vibrate against the metal body where the subwoofer is mounted. As i understand, the solution is to reach up in there and shove foam or something soft in between the metal and the parcel shelf to stop the two parts from making contact.

Thank you to everyone who responded. I’m taking it to an audio guy this week & buying a new sub
I’ve had this issue with my Avalon, basically they put dynamat on the rear deck itself and that worked for a bit but then when the rattle came back. J shoved a pillow between the rear glass and the rear deck and it helped a lot until the sub went out and got a new one replaced for free
