I use armor all wipes. works just fine.

 

Water and a towel. At most some orange cleaning cloths. Shining the dash will lead to cracks eventually. I know everyone claims to have "UV inhibitors" but that's just marketing talk. Same with tire shine.

Once clean from dirt spills, I use a microfiber cloth to keep dust off.

 

I'm w' BigTDogg...all those armor-all cleaning wipes and baby wipes cause your dash panels (in the long run) to become brittle and crack

so if you're going for longevity, I recommend the water/towel method as TDogg mentioned, otherwise baby wipes or the armor all "wipes" will do the trick

or you can be like me and never wipe it down

I use Vinylex (made by Lexol) spray to give the dashboard its showroom shine and finish.

i clean of with water and a towel and them shine with armor all protective stuff.
the answer to your confusion... with all the different products on the shelves... would probably be armor-all products:smokin:.
