^Thanks guys!! I don't mind waxing around the TACOMA emblems if they look ok on the truck. I'm gonna do the tailgate emblems as well. I'm not going to put all 4 of those back on though. Maybe only 2 back on the tailgate. It's pretty much experimental right now. I might do my tailgate handle as well.

 

How are you going to remount them. Did you make your own 2 faced tape or dealer?

I'd like to paint mine black but don't know how to reapply.

I'm gonna use some heavy duty, automotive grade double sided tape. I'll lay it on the back of the emblems and cut all the excess away so it is the same exact pattern as the emblem, which may take a while.

 

Well, I put the front emblem on today and it looks like crap!!:disappoin I'm gonna paint it black now. I guess I'll post a pic just so you guys can see what I mean... The TACOMA emblems look pretty sweet though! I'm gonna put those back on.

The front definitly looks like crap. The sides look like your trying to "hide" Tacoma soo...... get rid of it! If you like the fact its a Tacoma make it bold and black, Dont hide it if your trying to show it.

Lookin good, I have to disagree and say I like the blue front emblem with the blue grille shell. If I had a white grille shell, I would go white with mine, but I have chrome so I'm going black, and want to go black with the sides and back or leave them off, can't decide. How are the door and gate emblems on from the factory, glue?, dbl sided tape? That black on the white door looks sweet.

 

^they are attached with double sided tape. All it takes to remove them is heat them a little w/ a hair dryer and run some strong fishing line behind the emblems to cut through the tape. thanks for the compliments man!

 

i think the badges look real good on the doors:thumbup: just do what others said and get the front black until you get the grillcraft.
