Correct, the -1162 is 150 amp. So the smaller 130 amp (-1111 in your other post) may be the problem? Dunno.

 

Actually I don't know what alt is already installed on my car. But I found that "it seems" 100-130-150 they all fit on highlander 08-013. And as my car has a towing package I decided to go with 150Amp but I don't know what is the DENSO part number for that? It seems "27060-31162-84" is the part number for OEM but I don't know what is the DENSO equivalent.

I guess it should be DEN 210-1165 but I am not 100% sure

 

What engine and where was your HL built?
150 amp is #210-1165, if the HL is Japan built .

 

It is a 3.5V SPORT AWD made in Japan. It also has a tow hitch at the back of the car. As it has a sunroof on it I guess the tow package also may be the original part and I should go for a 150Amp.

How? I entered my VIN and it showed the basic information.

I added the information into my question but couldn't find alternator among electrical parts.
