You should be just fine with a 74 bulb

 

same as the main console ones.

34 bulb or a 74 bulb i used a 74 and it was fine

 

dont forget to not throw out the light de-amplifier!

(no really, the oem bulb is covered by a plastic sheath the dim the lights some, for some stupid reason that makes no sense.)

 

The stock bulb is 194, but you can make smaller bulbs work as well. But why do that when you can use the brighter 194 bulb.

The plastic sheath thing is supposed to color the light green. Chances are, you won't be able to get it off, as it is old.

194 was too big on my 2011 corolla s The 74 worked.

 

I just ordered some led. T5. They are suppose to work. I get them tomorrow. I will posting a video before the weekend on how to replace this bulb. Very easy to do
