Im finally getting my reg cab tacoma today and need some black all weather mats.

I saw a post yesterday (cant find it now:confused: ) that showed the weathertech's and they l;ooked sweet.

Or should i get the tacoma ones from toyota?

Anyone have pics of either of these installed? Or is there another i should consider?

Thanks.

Although they are a little more expensive than the TRD mats, the general consensus is the weathertech's are far superior. I love mine, they look good and do an incredible job of keeping the carpet clean. They do show dirt easy (black) but they also clean very easy. Use the "Search" function and you will be able to find many opinions and pictures. Welcome to TN.;)

as if you need more replies to say the same but...

I bought a tacoma a little over a week ago and had weathertechs waiting for it. They are great. My drivers one doesn't seem to fit perfect, but its fine and it sure is saving the carpet from the crazy Syracuse snow. Go with Weathertech, buy from autogeek.net and use code AUTOPIA (10% off)...or you can try AGO (free ship) should be somewhere around $90 or a little more depending on what coupon you use.

thanks alot for all the help!

however,

im at the weathertech website now and for 2007 tacomas, they have " all weather floor mats " and the " floorliner ".

which ones are u ppl talking about?

also i noticed on my new tacoma i have 2 holes in the floor in front of the seat. is this right? coz on my nissan i have 2 little prongs sticking up instead. i just wanted to be sure this was how it was supposed to be especially after getting a bed mat today that doesnt fit.

thanks.

I have the Floorliners, they are a perfect fit and they offered great protection this year in the Colorado snow.
The 2 holes are correct, and the weathertechs will mount using those 2 holes.

BTW +99 for the weather techs

WeatherTechs......no other choice! Just tonight, I was bringing home some hot wings from a local restaurant for dinner, and there was a spill. That stuff was alll over the mat on the passenger side, but nothing got on my carpet. I was totally impressed, since I had driven home like a maniac and still nothing had slopped out.

I bought a '99 chevy extreme when they first came out and got an awesome price, around $12,900.

Mine was carpetless with rubber floor. Some ppl thought I was nuts, but I liked it ALOT. I think it grew on them too. Super easy to clean. Also looked sweet coz everything on that truck was black. :banger:

Kinda new here, so I hoping that I'm replying correctly.
I ordered grey WeatherTechs for my 06 DC over two weeks ago, but have not been shipped. I ordered them from AutoGeek using the "AGO" shipping discount, mentioned by ba$$fan. Shipment was to be 1-2 weeks from reciept of order. Contacted AutoGeek, but they have no control over delivery, as the WeatherTechs are a drop-ship from the manufacture. Just as well deal directly with WeatherTech.

Ordered mine 2.5 weeks ago and got them two days ago...same color. They are awesome! Best fit I've ever had with an aftermarket mat! Well worth the wait IMO.

You're a sloppy guy. IMO, you should take out the 2 clips and fill the holes with silicone. The floorliner still stays in place but fluids won't drain through the holes to the carpet if you happen to spill another 5 gallon jug of coffee.

I took out the floor mats, cleaned the holes with alcohol, then just globbed the RTV silicone in the holes and smoothed it out on both sides. Then propped the floor mats up and let the silicone dry for a couple hours.

I second pb, those holes act like funnels if you fill the mats up and living in alot of snow mine always fill up, actually had the same idea as pb the first time I had em over flow except im going to make a bubble so i can still use the hooks. Another thing thats frustrating you don't think about underneath getting wet unless you notice the leakage and you have a good chance of having your carpet rot because the mat doubles as a seal not letting the water/muck easily evaporate off your carpet.

Does anyone have any pics of the Husky Liners installed? I regularly drive with muddy work boots, and find the problem area to be around the gas pedal (particularly to the right). The Weathertech seems to leave this area somewhat vulnerable?

had weathertec

I had weather tec in one of my audis and i loved the for my passangers. For a driver my heal was slipping all over the place. the toyota mats seem to be the same as the monstar mats that vw uses (had them in my R) and i find they have alot better grip for a driver. The toyotas are not as protective but I got them free with my truck because i gave them my rubber vw mats. SO IMHO weather tech for passangers and toyota for the driver

And for those of you that are curious
audi 100 (very used hand me down)
audi a6 wagon (used)
VW R32 (my first new car)

I have the Huskey Floorliners and they leave the same spot unprotected. They don't fit as tight as the Weathertech's do, but I still like mine very much.
