Damn, I'm trying to buy a set of these for my '07 DC, and Autogeek.net is telling me the floorliners are not available for my truck. I said "just pretend it's an '06, which they do have" and they CS person wouldn't go for it.

She's saying if the 07 is not on the weathertech website, the 06 mats will not work.

She was nice, but not going for my argument, and at that point, I'm not sure I want to give them my business now.

Do you guys think if I say my truck is an 06 those floorliners will work ok?

Thanks!

im wondering the same thing. I don't think anything is different from 2006-2007. I want to buy a set of weathertechs real soon, but if the weathertechs won't work im gonna have to find an alternative. Anyone with an 2007 dc have the weathertechs?

I got two interesting responses today.

From Autogeek.net

Flask, I understand you had some questions about your Floor liners you wanted to purchase from us.
The manufacturer was making liners for your vehicle for a short period of time, after shipping them out they discovered a design flaw. They have pulled all orders for 2007 Tacoma and will not allow us to order them until they fix the problem. We have issued you a credit for the liners.
Thank you for your time and please check back with us in a few weeks, we hope to have them available for purchase soon.
Thank you

And later, a confusing email from Weathertech guys themselves. I think they confused the all-weather and the floorliners in this email. The website is exactly the opposite of how he describes it.

Mr. Flask,

Thank you for your interest in MacNeil Automotive.

The Toyota Tundra was totally redesigned for the 2007 model year. We do offer the new FloorLiners sizes for the 2007 model and these can be found on our website. However, we do not have a size listed in the All-Weather mat design at this time.

My recommendation would be to purchase the FloorLiners since they are custom molded for the vehicle. However, if you prefer the All-Weather mat design I would recommend waiting until we have assigned a mat to fit the truck. We can certainly sell you the mats used in the 2006 Tundra, but I could not guarantee the fit.

Please call us if you have further questions and we will be happy to assist you.

Best regards,

Derek

So it's hold tight for a little while, I guess.

yeah i noticed they dont have them for the '07 models, and thats the year my truck is too.. i just plan on buying the '06 ones. they should be the same. the floor hooks appear to be in the same location and the overall shape looks identical.

*edit* err, hmm.. just read post 47. did they give any detail on what the "design flaw" was for the 07 tacoma floorliners?

most people on this site has or REALLY recommends these weathertech mats...they are really nice mats that cover the whole carpet area...i didnt get them because it wasnt available..instead i went ahead and got the Tacoma all-weather mats because i got a good deal from a friend that works for toyota...so far no complaints, looks great, they're easy to clean-and made of heavy duty rubber that doesnt make your feet slip...i wish i had pictures to show u...ahhh maybe soon...do your research which ones u really like, then go for it....

Husky liners

I have a set of Husky liners. They hold everything, fit perfect, no holes, and are reasonably priced. The come in colors to match. I had them with my 1992 truck, and my 2006 Tacoma. I would highly recommend them.

I've never seen a person get upset because somebody was being honest with them ? :hammer:

They drivers side Weathertech mat just doesn't fit right in the Tacoma. It needs to be about an inch wider. I've got two sets and they are both the same so I'm gonna give Huskies a try.

Anyone else have problems with the TRD mats? My right heel has worn a hole through my driver-side mat. I have only had the truck since mid november (10K miles)!

Do you think Toyota has a warranty on the mats? I got the dealer to throw them in when I bought it so I shouldn't be bitching, but its still crap.

Should I just bite it and buy Weathertechs?
Yeah I wear boots all the time and work in the mud - I have a dark hole in the drivers' side now b/c of those crappy mats. Didn't even last a year, and they are not under warrantee. Never will I ever buy them again.

I hate to say it, but from my personal experience my Toyota has been anything but a work truck.

That is an excellent point - - The email I got from them was AFTER that Cusotomer Service call. The call wasn't so cool, but the email follow up won me back :) I should have mentioned that. Autogeek.net has been very cool overall with this.

I got another note from the Weathertech guy:

Toyota made some minor changes to the Tacoma floorplan for the 2007 model year. The FloorLiners for the 2005/2006 Tacoma had a tendency to catch on the accelerator pedal when used in the 2007 model. We just finished modifying the mold to compensate for these changes in the 2007 version and the webmaster is in the process of adding the parts to the website.

In the meantime, call us if you have further questions or if you want to place an order and we will be happy to assist you.

So it looks like we can order soon.

I just ordered my new floorliners (for 2007) directly from Weathertech. $104 to my door (regular shipping, regular cab, just feeling regular). Hope my order got in before everyone else's, so I don't have to wait too long. So much for saving up for 'em like I planned. Just got that mod bug that's been going around...

Sad that I am this excited to get something to put my dirty feet on.

Floorliners Rock!!!

Ordered them on 5/10, got 'em today. They're slicker than snot on a greased doorknob. Very impressive product. The driver's side seems to be a bit narrow width-wise, but there are other things in the world to bitch about...

I have black weathertechs. Used them in my Tundra and now bought a set for my Tacoma. Also a good mat I have used is the Catch-Alls. That was my second choice. What sells me on the weathertechs is flap that extends to the door sill. My two cents.
