Hi all, and greetings from RAV4World!
I have a 2002 RAV4 5-speed with the E352f transmission, and my fifth gear pops out of gear under load, a not-unheard-of issue. I am going to do the fix myself, but instead of replacing the faulty gear with the stock RAV 5th gear (with a ratio of .820), I wanted to give my Ravver a taller 5th gear if possible.
I was told to look into using Camry gears (from the E351), but I couldn't find anything except for Scion drivers (with the E350) swapping out their 5th gear for the Camry 5th gear.
Could anyone give me any insight on whether I can use the Camry 5th gear from the E351 tranny and fit it into the RAV's E352f? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for any help in this cross pollination opportunity!
