I did !

I have never really liked these things on any vehicle. Howevr I found that the gutters did a poor job of keeping water from pouring into the car with the window slightly open....yea yea close the window...whatever..

So I got the Toyota ones. Must say they really finish it off...remember, I don't like these things. My wife said they look like they are part of the original car, or something like that....

Sorry no pictures, but they fit great, go well with the tint I put on the front....all windows match. I have the Mica colour so there is no big contrast. I imagine they might look different good and bad, on other colours.

I'll see if my kid can snap a shot and post it...

Hey blackswagger, I can answer your question because I've asked Ray the same question. He got the set together when he purchased the vehicle in Canada and he also referred me the same dealer for the parts.

Price for the deflectors is $130 a set, however, shipping fee from Canada will cost us twice the price of the item....... ($130 + $260):headbang:

I know another person in this forum (he is also in the Bay Area) is also looking for them........no luck yet.:ugh3:

Stupid question.... Can't you guys in the states order them from a Toyota dealer in Canada, maybe a dealer in Vancouver (West coast owners) and ship them to a dealer in Wherever USA.

Sounds silly that you can't buy a Toyota OEM, regardless of where you live.

I'm going to check my dealer and see if they would do it for me...IE buy it here and have it delivered to a dealer in the States.....Check back in a couple of days...

So much for free trade!!!

Just got off the phone with Toyota parts guy. Nope we don't ship to the States. The only way is for me to buy them and ship them myself. Likewise people living in the States can come to Canada and buy them.

What a joke....

Apparently you can get stuff that we can't ???

It's wind deflectors, not some chemical that is banned in one country or another....or some strange fruit, vegatable or meat product.

Sorry folks/

I am going to check my local post office and see how much shipping would be. The box is about 4 feet long, 8 inches wide and 2.5 inches high, weighs about 4 lbs.....How much could that be shipped 4-5 day delivery from Ottawa Ontario to lets say somewhere in New York, or California.

If it costs more than 30 bucks I'll be surprised.

I will post when I get some numbers.

Well that's what I was thinking. I have done this before on Corvette Forum and everyone always paid. I was hoping to keep costs down that someone on the West coast would step up and I'd do the East coast.

I didn't have time today to check the duty part of it. Work got in the way...

Once I know the full costs I'll post it. Trying to get them at cost from my dealer. Maybe he'll give me 2 or 3 sets at a great price!!!

INFO.....Nobody knows where these things are made. This makes a difference for duty.

However, cost is about $80 can...The GM at my Toyota place has not gotten back to me yet. I offered $100 for 2 sets ACS Rob and sf11se. My Total $226.00 tax in..13% tax....or 113 each. Regular price is 115 plus 13% 129.95

Shipping is 36.06. I still have no idea what duty is??????

I can send a gift duty free at $100 and over 100 you pay some duty, plus a duty fee.

If ACS and SF live anywhere near each other, I could put them in one box and you guys can meet or whatever.

Next option is to go to the States and ship them UPS to your house. Border is about 90 minutes from home, and I could make a pit stop at the casino, mail from US and pay no duty???

Any way those are my thoughts for the day.....I'll let you know when Toyota gets back to me with the actual price.
