I did. I sucked, so annoying! Took it to toyota and there was a blemish in the rubber sealant around the windshield or something like that. They fixed it no problem, but I did have to have a tech sit in the car with me to hear the sound.
BTW- Also a 2007
Windshield TBS. Didnt find out til warrenty was up. I use tape around the top and passenger side area of the windshield on long trips...problem solved.
Ya same here I have an 07 and it bugged the %#@$ out of me. It happened in strong winds or cross a wind. The local dealer had it re-sealed. but recently started to hear just a slight humm return only in heavy blustery wind.
I have 2002 Tacoma ext. cab. pitch-pipe noise from windshield area usually at 70mph plus. goes away temporarily when I run windshield fluid on windshield. any ideas on how to fix?
Located the area in the windshield where the noise is coming from and seal it over with tape or sealant. Also try posting in the correct section for your year truck, might have more detail for you there.
Our 2005 DC we use at work has the same issue, and it can be really bad. I was driving back to KY from the Evansville, IN with a cross-wind, and I got to hear it for about 2 hours solid.
