I think i would get the same truck but in speedway insted of silver.

 

I had to settle for my last truck (a 01 s10),, My other car was dying and needed to get something in a hurry kinda deal,, So I hadn't much time to shop around and find something I wanted...

Lucky for me this time around I had time to look around and wait for exatly what I wanted... So I got everything I wanted,,, speedwayblue,, doublecab,, 4x4,, TRD OR,, Step tubes,, Skid plate,, tow,, 6 disc,, the whole shabang...

 

I would get the exact same truck, except an '07 instead of an '05.

 

Confession; I screwed up not ordering factory driving lights. That will be a non-issue in a few weeks with a PIAA kit. This truck is awesome otherwise.

 

I'd keep her the way she is. Love the red, got LSD, JBL audio package upgrade, DRL's, 4x4, Towing package, auto dimming mirror

Convenience Package (CP) -- power windows/door locks/outside mirrors, remote keyless entry system, cruise control and sliding rear window with privacy glass

SR5 Package #2 (SL) -- Convenience Package plus chrome grille surround and rear bumper, color-keyed front bumper and color-keyed overfenders (PreRunner and 4x4 models only), metallic-tone instrument panel trim, leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift lever, variable intermittent windshield wipers, sun visors with sliding extensions and vanity mirror, SR5 badging, upgraded seat fabric, driver's seat with lumbar support, and fog lamps (V6 models only).

And I got her for a smoking dealer invoice It pays to have dealerships compete for my business.

 

I would have gotten the 6-cd stereo so I can get the steering wheel audio controls. Oh how I regret not getting the 6-cd stereo

 

the only i might want is if i got a LB instead of my SB, only thing is i would have to give up the TRD OR, not a fan of the TRD Sports. Then if i got the longbed i'd wish i had a shortbed so i could get the TRD OR

 

I would get the same exact truck I think, but I would have not bought a waranty for 800 for 75k mi. This truck isn't going to break, maybe a mudflap or something will go missing, that's all.

With that $800 I could have bought an aftermarket double din navi system instead.

 

Why did I get silver, should've gone with speedway blue!!! Silver tacomas are all over my area!

 

i like everything about my truck. when i bought it, it had everything i wanted, but i would have preferred indigo over the impulse red. but the impulse red was my second choice. now that i have it, i think i like the impulse red more. so all's good here

 

I had time to wait so I ordered my truck with everything I could. Only thing I couldn't get was the JBL upgrade due to them saying that it had to come from the factory with it and they weren't producing any more 06's so I had to go with the 6-disk. Only have around 2500 miles on it so far but love it. :loove:

 

I love my truck, 4wd, dc, auto, 6 disc, tow pkg, sport, black. Just what I wanted. I couldn't have asked for anything else. Time to start getting a bullbar, skidplate, 3in toytec lift, and some 285's.

 

I would get the same truck but I would get the TRD-Off Road not the SR-5. This is what I wanted to begin with but Toyota would not allow that option on my special order. They suck!

 

no change this tacoma #2 for me the 97 i had only replaced the starter NYsalt i think did it a early grave ...105k and the rust was maybe 3% pritty anel tho alot of ny winter wash jobs and waxing in the heated garage also frame panting with rustolum satin black 2 times a year :thumbup:

 

the only thing i would do is buy another xrunner but in red this time. i settled for black but i love how the radiant red looks

Diesel/hybrid/electric/solar

I would be interested if Toyota did a plug in electric hybrid of some kind. They have plans for the Pruis to be a plug in and all their vehicles to go hybrid.
Otherwise I love the vehicle.

 

Same truck, color and package. No changes with the exception of the rear leaf spring squeak. :lol:

 

Love the Dbl Cab. Love the TRD OR. For what else Toyota offers in general, I wish I had:

- a 6ft bed
- maybe Indigo or Impulse Red
- homelink

What I wish I had that Toyota does not offer (other than the hybrid, the rest are still options for me to explore):

- V6 hybrid or alternate power option
- sunroof
- HID's
- Nav
- heated wipers/side mirrors
- leather/heated seats

I would have kept my 99 Tacoma Xcab.

 

My dad has a lifted 91 ac pickup. Just following in his footsteps... Just a bit bigger though with the 06 d cab hahaha. My pops is my hero.

 

I would have gotten a Sport. When I got mine, I didn't know squat about them (or that there even was a sport model). Otherwise, I love the truck!! One of the few that I've been satisfied with for this long!!

 

I wish I kept my 98 taco or maybe I should of gotten a 5 lugger access cab. :headbang:

 

yes i would buy another one. brand new of course TRD SPORT DOUBLE CAB LONG BED SUPER WHITE. but i would want one with 4x4 for the added fun of more capable off-roadin.
