so I fricked up and bought the wrong case of oil for my camry.. manual calls for 5w-20 but I got 5w-30

it's mobile one full synthetic.. I know the 5w-30 is for the v6 models so would it damage my 4-cylinder if I just used it or should I take it back and get right oil??

Your owner's manual calls for 0W-20 or 5W-20 for the 2AZ 4 cylinder engine. It's a brand new car, so why take the chance IMHO. Take it back to where you purchased it and exchange it. If you can't find the receipt, call the store and ask to speak to the store manager. Explain the situation and chances are he or she will just say to bring it back in and ask for them. I had a similiar situation when my 98 Camry was totaled and I purchased an 07 Camry with the 2AZ engine. I had 3 cases of 10W-30 I had stocked up on. I spoke to the store manager and explained the problem to him and he exchanged it for me for the 5W-20. I even brought a few pictures of the totaled car with me to further my case.
