I’ve just had this pop up a few times the last few days. Goes away after a second but the last time today, my power steering went out for a minute. Had my battery and alternator tested at Advance and it came back okay but for some reason I have a hard time believe this. It has just at 100,000 and have had the same battery since I bought it new. What could it be? Hoping it’s not more than a few hundred fix… please help 🙏🏽

No, but I have left lights on inside car a few times. It’s usually while driving. I just does it randomly though so I can’t really pinpoint it. It has the same battery it had when I bought it though. I’m thinking a fuse or battery. My alternator in my 4Runner lasted to almost 300,000 miles.. LOL, I don’t really think it’s the alternator for some reason. I have my mechanic coming tomorrow.. it’s just bothering me because I’ve never had this issue before.

I'm on the 3rd battery in my 2010 Corolla LE. The 2 previous batteries lasted 7 years each. When they got to the point where they wouldn't hold enough charge to start the car, I never had a problem with the electric power steering. Something has changed since the 2010 generation.

had this happen to me when I was sitting in the car at idle for a while and I think I had the heat running, might have had the defrosters on, and was playing music which includes my subwoofer. basically a lot of electrical demands at the same time with the engine idling. in my case the battery was probably partially discharged. after driving around it never returned, and that was about a year ago.
