Hi there, I am new to this forum.
I have a 05 corolla CE, auto with package B. It starts fine when cold. But after the car's
been warm-up, park it for about an hour, it is hard to start sometimes. I say around 3 to 5 times a week. It cranks for around 5 to 7 seconds before it will start up. Normally it will start
up in under 2 seconds.
Took it back to the dealer, checked everything out. They said that the check engine light is not on and the computer has no error codes. The mechanic who worked on my car was very young.
Looks like someone just finished highschool. I am sure he can do good tune-ups, brakes or oil chg. but maybe lack of experience when it comes to trouble shooting.
Anyone has the same starting problem with their newer corollas??? (03 to 05)
