if they are physically the same they shoudl fit.. you want the 'diamond' clear lense of hte newer ones right? if thats what youw ant, yeah they should fit

well.. i donno about other avalons. but mine was a '95 and i bought the '98-'99 (year2000+ is different). yes and no they would/wouldn't fit. 95-99 headlights are interchangable, but the mounting is differnt. so i screw the 98 headlight onto the 95 mounting. yes it is brighter too and MUCH better looking (more luxurious). just my opinion.

yeah, I had to do the same modification. But I added hids to them. :whatwhat: Bright and nice, comparable to the maxima 01s hid. Doesn't glare at all, well maybe be a little (only to old folks I guess ). And it withstands the heat. :thumbup:

6SPD_HLSD Hello All, I just picked up a '95 Avalon and I would like to change the headlights to '98-'00 headlights. Are they direct fit? Has anybody donne this? And if someone done it, is it worth it as far as better/more illuminitation of the road?

Did you have to make new holes on the 95 mounting brackets in order for the 98-99 headlights to fit??

 

98-99 headlights would look great on a 95-97 did you have to drill new holes?
