I wish I could find a coupe in that good of shape.. Heck I wish I could find a V6 coupe period.

Yeah..I've been looking for a coupe v6 SE or LE for the last 8 months..this one popped up in Wyoming with no pics and little info. After calling the owner said its a one owner car with all highway miles 281,000...She said it was leather, auto, Sunroof and a spoiler!! I drove 230 miles to see it and offered $500 to start and ending up at 600!! I've been needing a winter driver since last season....now I have it!!

Confused -

First off - you are swapping the red painted door handles for black? (I want to get the black handles on my 2002 Focus body colored, but hard to justify spending the money).

Second - is the passenger interior door handle broken? The drivers looks fine.

Yep!! Just installed the new black gloss mirrors both sides, and yes I'm going with Black outside door handles. The black should tie in nice with mirrors, rear panel (SE), Black Wheels, Black Depo Headlights and I want a black hood and spoiler to complete the look. As far as the passenger side interior handle...yes it works but is broken. ($12.99) went ahead and took care of both at the same time...same as the exterior door handles.

Painted the Windshield wiper arms Gloss Black along with front grill. Also installed Clear Turn Signals!!

Hey great find, and nice work so far! The only thing I don't get it the black wheel thing... just don't get it at all. I've seen it on a bunch of cars, trucks, suv's. Seems like a bit more of a truck/SUV thing to me. I think they look like army boots on a hot red-dress outfit. Sorry, love everything else.:wink:

You did well on that V6 couple and it's coming along nicely. Any plans on engine or mechanical upgrades? Can't believe that leather is in such good shape but I guess in your area things like that last a lot longer than at the bottom of a nasty river valley LOL

$600...you can't beat that with a stick!

I do plan to do Brakes & rotors all around, Transmission service (Flush or Drain?) Also I'll be doing Timing belt and all that goes with that, plus start on the suspension (completely shot all around).

wow, sounds like you still have a lot of VERY expensive and hard stuff to be done. tell you what - I'll take it off your hands and even give you a few bucks for your trouble so far. whadda you say ?

Hey, nice Camry V6 Coupe


I just put black wheels on mine as well.. thought it'd be nice to have something different.
I like the reblacking of the front grille,been considering doing that to mine.
Don't really understand the black handles, but we'll see how it works with the black theme.

The clear turn signals really gives the car a sleeker look!

Overall looking good mate, keep it up.
Also, I'd go for a transmission drain and refill, 3 times over.
