We did some further investigation and found that the 5th digit was an "D" which states that the engine should be a 2ZZ, but when we started to remove the original engine we found the stamp on the side saying it is a 2AZ engine. If the 5th digit was a "E" then it for sure would of been a 2AZ engine. This changes the whole configuration of installing a new engine. So the 2AZ will be a direct replacement.
