2006 avalon abs bleeding question?

Did something major like the ABS module get replaced? Was there some major blow out where more than one hydraulic circuit was opened up and emptied out without your permission? Is this just basic maintenance?

If you're just doing maintenance, any plain old traditional bleeding procedure without a scan tool will work just fine. Just keep the master cylinder topped up and the scan tool never has to be a factor.
 
It isn't maintenance. The brakes can't be bled and mc has been replaced. I suspect alot of air in abs system.
Bleeding at the master cylinder itself would have been all you needed to do. Most would bench bleed it. Then once installed in the car, it just needed the lines cracked a couple times as if you were bleeding at the wheels.

I can't say much about the ABS bleed procedure without seeing it directly myself. Sometimes, aftermarket scan tools don't quite do the job they're supposed to even though it's an equivalent to the OE scan tool. Just the same, if it says open bleeder first, then push pedal, do it exactly as it says. Make sure you understand the wording of the steps as they're written. They can be ambiguous and confusing even for the guys that do use scan tools on a regular basis.

5. Last step it sais to normally bleed all 4 brake lines. Which i dont as i do one wheel at a time.
What they're saying there is follow the correct bleed sequence for all four brake lines. You can only do one at a time regardless, but do it in the right order. A typical sequence would be RR, LF, LR, RF. You can likely get away with doing the rear lines first, then the fronts.
