I have a question about abs bleeding on toyotas.
I am using a autel maxicheck pro scanner which allows me to talk to toyotas ecm for air bleeding abs. I am unsure of a few things. Here is my procedure.
1.I am doing this wheel by wheel. I take one wheel off at a time.
2. It first asks me to bleed all 4 lines. I have already done this.
3. Open bleeder plug on rear right or front right and activate abs pump for 4 seconds. Do not depress brake pedal for this step. Pump runs and good amount of fluid comes out. Close bleeder screw is final step. on this step it sais do front right or rear right.
4. Open bleeder screw and depress brake pedal. I am wondering if i should actually hold pedal to floor first and then open bleeder screw. Instructions aren't totally clear imo. Then i click ok and something is suppose to run for 4 seconds but i hear or see nothing on brake line. Then it sais close bleeder which i do and then release brake pedal(i have a helper). Step completed after a 20 second delay on screen. This step refers to inhalation line. What is this step suppose to do. Is it suppose to activate the pump.
5. Last step it sais to normally bleed all 4 brake lines. Which i dont as i do one wheel at a time.
I got a few questions.

I got a few questions.
- What is step 4 suppose to do. Run the abs pump for 4 seconds? I can see and hear it in step 3 turn on. But in this step i dont hear or see anything.
- Does it really matter if i just do this one wheel at a time. If i go around car twice then i should be good right? Honestly i dont want to put this car up on all fours.
- on step 4 am i suppose to press brake pedal to floor and then open bleeder screw or vice versa?
- Step 4 seems to say do this step on all 4 but step 3 just sais front right or rear right. Why is that? This step has got me confused on what is suppose to happen as i see or hear nothing going on.
