How long is your ABS pump running after shutdown? How frequently is it coming on when the car is turned off?

That's a clear clue as to ABS module failure.

I wouldn't look to hard at the ABS control module until you replace that speed sensor and get the other codes to clear.

 

2006 Highlander Hybird 230K miles

I've read that it "may" need a new ABS module. I just want to double check before spending the $800-$1200 on a brand new one. Vehicle was a relatives car. She had new tires, calipers, brakes/rotors installed. When driving the traction control light blinks, cutting power to the vehicle. The ABS light is on as well as check VCS light. If the vehicle is placed into FWD or AWD maintenance mode then the vehicle drives as if it were normal (we know not to drive it in those modes).

After putting the car into FWD/AWD maintenance mode the car then sent a code for left front wheel speed sensor. Thats been ordered.
Codes: c0205, c1368, c1345

What can I check prior to buying the new ABS module. I don't want to throw money at something if its not going to solve the problem.

Were the brakes etc. replaced by someone with diagnostic software capable of resetting Toyotas?

If not, I’d do a TN/internet search for how to perform the reset process without the tool or a trip to a mechanic or dealer may be necessary to resolve the brake system warnings
