Hi, My Toyota dealer took my hybrid battery apart and said it couldn't be fixed. I got the car back disassembled to give it a try myself. I cleaned all the corroded parts and puzzled it back together, and have one white wire connector end and don't know where it goes. Maybe it's for diagnostics? and doesn't go anywhere? Please see picture and let me know what you think. I looked at a bunch of on-line YouTube videos, but they were for a 2007 and I didn't see my extra wire connector. Ok... thanks!.

Does it even reach battery? Don't repeat my mistake and only look down. Look UP. We once spent hours in cold rain, not being able to start engine, because of one loose plug hanging down. Went to dealer, found same car, it was HOOD LIGHT plug. Wire from harness was hanging down and we were looking only down at the engine harness, not up at the hood.

I commend you on trying to fix your own Camry hybrid, @psychdoc. I also find it disconcerting that the Toyota dealer says your Camry cannot be fixed. Anything can be repaired, providing the parts are available and you have the financial resources to get it done. Did you purchase a "renewed" battery or are you trying to revive your old one? Good luck and hope you find that connector. At least the wire is short, so you have a small area to search.
