C1331 believe this is for the left front sensor.
1000-1200 ohms is Mitchell spec.
Check rockauto.com for specific vehicle fit.

 

Yes, C1331 shows as Open In Front Speed Sensor Left. Weird. It most definitely started with a different code indicating right rear speed sensor. I'll put the tire back on and check the front.

 

So today I used the car and pulled the codes again. C1332 is back after I cleared it last week along with C1331 and C1445. Must be something central to all 3.

 

C1445 may be setting as an additional alert because of the wheel speed sensor codes.
If sensor resistance good at sensor then test circuit from the skid control ECU connector to sensor.

Possible that skid control ECU is faulty recognizing the speed sensor but verify sensor/circuit first.

 

Thanks for the help. Plan to get back to it tomorrow and will start with front left. Watched several videos on it. Will report back. Had I known a week ago I would have further checked the rear right harness.

 

Pulled the front speed sensor looks like mice chewed the wires right at the plug under the wheel splash guard. Will update after repair.

Unfortunately, looks like I'm going to have to make an educated guess as to which wire goes where as I forgot to notate which wire went in which position of the plug. I'll try to find a wiring diagram.

Edit- found a pic of the connector on an ebay pull, so no worries now.

 

I'm not 100 percent but I don't think the orientation of the wires matter cause all it does is like a pass through. The signal goes in one side and out the other

Installed the repaired harness got rid of the C1331 and C1445 . Still have C1332 code so I guess I'll reexamine the rear sensor and harness.

edit- Had not inserted cable into speed sensor far enough to hear the click of the retainer. Started it and no codes. Still wonder what set the codes to begin with.
