Is it possible to swap a camry v6 engine into a 2012 toyota corolla.

Anything is possible with enough money. Is this worth it? Not for most people but if money isn't a problem than make it happen! It would be easier to turbo the car though if you want more power. The V6 will also weigh more and may throw off the balance of the Corolla.

I've seen this swap in Hondas.(V6 from an Accord or Acura TL into a Civic or Integra.) Can't see why it couldn't be done on a Toyota platform if you really had the desire to do so. Unfortunately like everything else performance related, there is very little aftermarket support.

Heres a page where 8th gen guys are doing it.

Also There is a JDM Corolla/Auris wagon/hatch called the Blade Master G that has a 2GR-FE 280hp V6.thats a 9th-10th gen so it should fit since we share the same platform!

Yes it can be done, now the question, why you swap a non performance engine for another one and add weight to the Corolla?
You want more power? Go turbo upgrade transmission and wiring $10-15000 can take you into the 500HP club, I saw a couple of rollas like that one is here in Florida.

And, if you have to....Overnight parts from Japan!

Sorry couldn't resist.

A V6 is a hard task cause it's being tried on older platforms as opposed to newer platform Corolla/Matrix models that has a shorter front end. This is my 3mzfe powered 95 in the works with an E153 V6 5 speed from the 99 Solara.

Engine swap

Yes ,Just by one of these . http://www.goo-net-exchange.com/usedcars/TOYOTA/BLADE/index.html

Toyota Blade Master-G .What is it?
Imagine a Toyota Auris, spiffed up, sportified a touch and with a burbling 3.5 V6 nestling under the bonnet. That's what this is, and in its native Japan it's known as the Toyota Blade Master-G.

A VW Golf-style premium hatch that’s several times smoother, faster and more interesting than the capable but not class-leading Auris, this Blade Master-G is apparently too niche, exotic and CO2 suspect to make it anywhere near the UK, alas.

What's it like?
The Master-G proves pretty entertaining, as you might expect thanks to its big-engined formula and 276bhp and 254lb ft.

This 3456 cc V6 unit (lifted from the Lexus IS350) delivers the kind of instant power, zest and tractability the regular 2.4-litre Blade (another Japan-only product) and Auris can only dream of.

Refinement, too, for the V6 is creamily smooth all the way to the 6400rpm red line and with a wide power band, the Master-G really does just pick up and go, although the throttle response could be sharper. It sounds just the job, too.

Honda K motor swaps are becoming popular with our platform. MWR is working on motor mounts. Looks promising. Although Toyota purits will probably cringe, the K series is a great performance engine with a huge aftermarket. If looking for a swap wait for this one!
