2014 Corolla ECU Pinout?

I've got a 2014 Corolla with a Lotus Elise Supercharger made for the 2ZR-FE engine ready to bolt on with a custom fabricated charger cooler, reservoir and pump with all the new fuel and ignition maps all plotted out...so what's Toyota do...they change the ECU connectors for 2014 to something they themselves manufacture. Does anyone have the ECU pin-out...or have any idea where to get the connector that's on the ECU? As far as I know, the 2014 supercharged Corolla made for the European market uses a completely different ECU so that's out...unless someone knows different...

Muchos Gracias! Do you have a link to the TIS website...AFAIK, it's a Toyota employee only site...I went by the dealer and they printed out a bunch of diagrams of the 'performance management' wiring...which one would think leads back to the ECU pin-out...but it didn't much to my dismay :^( I need to wire in an AEM FIC.

I got the supercharger from DeRoure LTD (they have a website)...it wasn't cheap (over $5K + VAT). They set me up with all the bolts, idler arm, etc. I needed to make it all work. I'm using the Lotus charger cooler mounted to the front radiator bracket with a Bosch pump and custom made coolant reservoir. All the plumbing will fit through the existing holes in the body to pass through the AC hoses. It's an easier setup than going with a turbocharger because there's no cutting into the body involved, and it's all made for the 2ZR-FE which is the same the Elise is using in their 2011- models. The speed bump for now is still is either reprogramming the ECU (the kit to do that is about $1500), or adding a FIC for about $500 which you can't do without the ECU pin-out which won't be available until they publish the 2014 Service Manuals in October...and it's not on TIS. Boomslang doesn't make an adapter cable yet either. The other dead end is that Lotus won't take a Toyota ECU and reprogram it because they use their own ECU and harness for the 2ZR-FE.

Yeah I was too. They have a wiring diagram under the Engine Performance section of the site, but it doesn't show the pin the wires actually map back to...just the color of the wire...which would be OK except the A and B connector have some wires using the same colors...with the tuner audience for Toyota being as extensive as it is...why Toyota decided to use their own proprietary ECU connectors on the Corolla...and not on the Matrix that uses the same 2ZR-FE engine is beyond me. That's why Boomslang can't make a harness for the 2014 Corolla's ECU (yet, I hope).

Thanks for the tip...but I already did...and spoke with one of their 'master technicians' who went to TIS, poked around for a while, then handed me wiring diagrams that were pretty much useless because, although they gave wire color, they didn't say whether the connection was on the A or B bus...and where both buses have some wires of the same color...the information wasn't useful. That's when I tried TIS for myself and found the same thing. Supposedly the actual printed service manuals due out in October will have the info I need (I hope). Until then...I wait I guess.

Yes...exactly from there. Their lead sales rep is Keith...he's incredibly helpful and goes the extra mile to make sure you get everything needed for the SC add-on. It's pricey...more than going turbo by almost two-fold...but you'll end up with something no one else has :)...except me...maybe...if this all works out.

Got the wiring diagram from TIS...had to do some REAL digging...but I found it. Not sure I want to go cutting into a $1000 harness...might wait to see what Boomslang comes up with down the road.

Finally found it on TIS...it wasn't easy, but it's there. Now I have to decide whether or not to hack into a $1000 wiring harness or wait to see if Boomslang comes up with an adapter cable for the FI/C. Figures no one in my area does ECU remapping....that'd make this a whole lot easier...decisions decisions

Got the supercharger installed. The stock throttle body wouldn't fit...had to buy the Lotus one ($1200), and it's 3", not 2-1/2" like stock so I'm having to modify the intake plumbing and move the radiator hose that runs right in front of the throttle body. I swear Toyota put it there just to keep people like me from doing this conversion. More to follow once I finally get the stock air box connected and re-route the radiator hoses. The boost gauge was the easy part. Toyota left an extra pass-thru on the firewall main wiring grommet.
