Mine is similar to yours in that I can see part of bumper and license plate, too. There was a thread about this a couple of years or so ago and I believe the camera angle is the same for everyone. I don't think you need to be alarmed that the camera shifted or was moved.

Yesterday when I was backing up my car I SUDDENLY noticed that I could see about 1/3 portion of my license plate in the backup camera screen.

Yours is normal.

With my '14 there's a message overlayed where you see your plate numbers reminding me to check for traffic so the numbers are obscured. I clearly see the bottom of the plate frame and bumper.

You might be able to tweak it just a bit and it will give you less bumper and more sky. For me the bumper edge is a good point to see the end of "CRUNCH". I don't care about the top of houses.
