Had it installed today. Significant improvement in the sound quality. Still have the stock headunit. Might be the best way to improve on one of the things that is lacking in the vehicle.

I've just got my 2018 non-jbl hybrid and I am pretty disappointed about the sound. Which speakers and amp did you use?
