I'm installing new speakers in my car. Just wondering if I need to do anything with tweeter harness (bridge connectors) to retain connection to the door?

Some shots of wiring and factory tweeter.

Hard to tell from the pictures, but it looks like green is connected to red, and blue to purple.

I don't know why Toyota does this (especially when the tweeters aren't even in the door), but it is common for them to wire the tweeter and door in parallel, but rather than bridge them in the harness, they bridge them on the tweeter side of the connector.

Most likely, you can connect the green and blue to your crossover input (mount the xover near the tweeter), then connect the mid output to the red and purple to feed the door speaker.

Yhank you for your hint.

You are bang on. Please check the video at 26.37sec.

No need too loop. Just hook the crossover directly there.

More info for anyone might need it.

Each tweeter is wired in parallel to the front door speaker in your Toyota Corolla.

If you change only the speakers, there is a link to intall front speakers in a Corolla.
http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/3...a-11th-gen-2014-scion-im-2016/1326313-how-upgrade-your-front-door-speakers.html

But if you change the tweeters you may have to intall crossover.
Some tweeters can't handle bass!!!
Without crossover to let only high frequency pass!!!
Tweeters will keep burning!!!

I hope this help
Sincerly yours
