Bought a 2021 Camry XSE with V6. The problem I'm having is a coolant smell when exiting vehicle. It doesn't matter how the car was driven. Second problem is no sound from radio intermittently. When it happens, it doesn't matter whether it's on satellite radio or Fm radio. No sound until I shut vehicle off and restarted, then everything worked like it was supposed. The 3rd problem is when using the navigation. It will freeze and I will have to unplug phone and when I plug it back in it works fine for a while then do it again. The phone is not frozen. It's a big problem when getting directions in big cities. Missed my exit more than once because I didn't notice it was frozen. Dealer keeps saying coolant is a known normal condition,The other problem dealer blames my phone, which I traded and bought the newer phone, still same issue with navigation and no sound from sound system. Has JBL upgraded system. Any help is welcomed. Thanks

I just got finished installing a dash camera system in car which took about 20 minutes to run and tuck all the wiring and when I got out I smelled the coolant. It doesn't matter if you drive 5 miles like the little old church lady or like the 20 year old that thinks he's an Earnhardt. When I park there's the smell coolant from either side of vehicle
The radio did it again with no sound. pulled over shut car off and restarted and we had sound again. That's after the dealer did a reprogram update for the radio. Will talk with them again on next service visit.

Are you noticing lower coolant levels or only the smells? I'm only at 15k miles now.

My CarPlay seems to freeze my Pandora and Google Map apps sometimes. Like you, I have to disconnect phone data cable then reconnect. Then unlock phone to restart the apps. Sometimes in the middle of Google Map navigation, the entire app shuts down. I've always thought it was my third party non-IOS data cable.

Haven't noticed any coolant loss yet, just smell. We got the Toyota cables when we purchased car and have tried aftermarket cables also. No difference. We enem went so far as to go get newest model Samsung phones. We even showed them video when the volume didn't work. We tried Amazon music app. Sirius radio and local radio. Tried adjusting the volume at the radio and with steering controls. All had no volume, it showed the stations but the display didn't even show us trying to adjust volume.

My 2020 is my first OEM CarPlay/Android Auto head unit so I don't have much history to compare. On my Gen4.5 camry, I self installed an aftermarket Sony HeadUnit with Android Auto. At the time my Android phone connections seemed stable but the Moto phones themselves would either crash apps or freeze due to high operating temps, I'm in South CONUS.

My guess at this point is that the software for our Camry headunits just aren't be fully 100% stable with both the CP/AA apps.

No coolant level changes is a good thing at least.
