2023 Speaker upgrade path question

So I have already partially upgraded my speakers in the front to the Focal IS-TOY 165 (speakers made specifically for Toyota/Lexus/Subaru as drop in replacements) component set (also soundproofed the front doors), a Kenwood Excelon 10" sub, and a Kenwood Excelon XR901-5 5 channel amp (amp wired to each front door and the passive crossover controls the tweeter, as well as wired to the stock rear door speakers). I have had that for about 6 months and am already wanting to upgrade as I have been feeling like I need more bass. I am looking for good sound quality, nice crisp highs, as well as deep punchy bass for the EDM that I listen to. I know I want to eventually get a DSP amp and go for an active setup.

Path 1
JL HO-110W6v3 enclosure with JL HD750/1 amp [happening next week]
then
Focal ES165KX2 components in front, IS-TOY 165s to rear (soundproofed) [would happen in a month or 2]
then
JL VX600/6i amp to replace the Kenwood [would happen a few months after above for 4-5 months total]

Path 2
JL HO-110W6v3 enclosure with JL HD750/1 amp
then
IC-TOY 165s in rear (soundproofed), JL VX600/6i amp [maybe a month or 2]

How much of an improvement in sound quality would the KX2s be over the IS-TOYs? Should I bother with rear fill as there is usually no one in the back seats? How big of an improvement would a DSP be, and would a DSP even be worth it for stock speakers? Should I prioritize a DSP over upgrading the fronts? Would I be able to go with a VX400/4i instead and run the rears off the stock head unit? I know I have a ton of questions, I've been theorycrafting this for a few weeks.

I have a bass knob for the sub. It's very useful when I'm getting close to home and don't want to advertise what I have. It's also good for driving around in parking lots. According to the shop, adding the VX amp will also come with it's own knob as there will be a few different presets they will tune it to that I can use that knob to switch between. Why would I bother with getting 6x9 for the rear when they are also 6.5, same as the front? I don't sit in the back, and since car stereos only see left and right channels, there is no 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound (unless you buy a much fancier car, possibly), there is less of a reason, for now, to upgrade the rears. Getting the ICs and the VX600 would cost about the same as getting the KX2s. Cost-wise, it makes more sense... unless the KX2s are just that much better than the ISs I currently have.

They already are being amped according to the shop that did the install. 5 channel amp, 1 to sub and 1 each to the doors. The tweeter gets it's power through the crossover from the door speaker. Back doors are still stock speakers. I think I may be leaning towards the IC and VX600 at the same time to fully use the DSP for all the speakers to the best it can. I can then upgrade the IS fronts with the KX2s in the future, or if I'm feeling particularly froggy, the Utopia Ms. I know I don't need to go all out on the rear speakers, so they are low on my priority
If your running a five channel amp with the sub connected and running off it the easiest thing to do for more bass is to get your sub it's own amp. I still wouldn't upgrade the rear speakers.
Second it doesn't matter if your powering the rears with a different amp, your still using the stock headunit, which I'm pretty sure doesn't give full range to the rears like many newer cars they are just fillers. This also holds true about the signal going to your amps being highly EQ from the factory and starts clipping at volume level 30and above. A DSP will help restore the true sound from the signal. This makes a massive improvement in volume and sound quality.

Well I'm already set up for next Thursday to get a better sub with it's own amp, so that will be covered. Is your opinion to get the VX600 as the next step then? Then have them tune it using the current speakers that I have, and then down the road upgrade the fronts and move the the current fronts to the rear?

Yes because you might not want to change the other speakers after adding DSP and it's easy to retune it once you change speakers.
