My manual says 3500lbs without towing package, 6500 with towing package.

 

Thats with the V6, the I4 is only rated to tow 3500lbs with or without the tow package.

 

Thats 3500 with the I4.

WHat kind of increase would I get in Tow capacity if I install a tow package (oil coolers, hd battery, etc.) on a 4 Cyl? Anyone with experience? Thanks

None...no matter what the max rating that Toyota will give the 4 cyl is 3500lbs. You would be wasting your money, the small 4cyl engine just isn't powerful enough to tow more then that. It's not a matter of cooling or battery power.

 

Is it a 4x4 or 4x2?

 

It's a 4x2. Just poking aroung the 'net, but what about putting a super charger?

 

To the best of my knowledge... there isn't a supercharger for the 4 cylinder.
