Thanks for the tip.

Paint your fogs and use regular halogens.
Neh ,don't like yellow painted fogs, i mean the glass.
Just curious..how did you get to the fogs? Did you remove the whole bumper?

If and when my MTEC Super White fogs go out..I might try the yellows but dont feel like taking my whole bumper off
Actually no, I didn't take the whole bumper off. I just removed the plastic shield from beneath the car (for driver side fog) and reached the bulb from there. But for passenger side there was a barrier ,so I couldn't reach it from that side.I had to unscrew the plastic shield underneath the car, that protects the engine.

I have the same Nokya 2500K in my fogs and they've been there for over a year already, I used them in my other car as fogs and there isn't any sign of melting the harness or anything. The fogs look amazing in the fog housing that the Gen6's have with the 2500K color, close to even HID quality.
Ok that helps alot.Thanks.

Really damn ,so now I'm confused. darksparkz says he didn't have any problem ,and now you are telling me you fried your harnesses?

I think 80W is too much for your wires. Why not get the PIAA 55W? It's a bit expensive, but safe for your harness.

Good combination BTW!
Thanks bud, I don't want to spend any more money on bulbs.

i have modded 9005 Nokyas(2500K) and they burnt up one of my harnesses. I bought the Nokya high temp harnesses and never looked back. They are holding up like champs!
Now I definitely need to change my harnesses.:headbang:

I didnt compare it befor and after ,I just bent down the squirrel spotters, and it is not too bad.
It really isnt hard at all.. Cut off the old harnesses and splice in the positive and negative wires, solder and wrap. Took me half an hour only because its weird to solder on your back lol
Good to know its that easy, thanks:thumbsup:

I guess it varies differently, there probably is a chance of it melting possibly, but you can replace it with a heavy duty harness if you really must.

I'm jealous of the snow you have already :(

Oh yea car looks good too lol
Why are you jealous man, I can ship to you some just pay for shipping j/k:lol:
Thanks for the compliment.
i had my fogs installed for about a year before the harness gave out. Ive been using them a lot during the past couple of weeks b/c of the heavy fog conditions around the shipping ports/area where I work.

You can upgrade your wiring harness to a heavy duty one like I did but you're gonna be spending another 20 or so bucks for it. I got mines from ebay. They are made by Luminics.
Well I don't use my fogs alot, so I guess I'm fine for a year or 2.

Very easy to do. Only requires a hair dryer, soapy solution (you can buy this at Wal mart or any shop), and a moment of your time. Once you have the film applied, throw away or sell your 80W junk of a bulb and just stick with the regular Phillips bulb.

Snow snow go away come again another day! (J/k, here in Cali, we really NEED rain and snow right about now)
Like I said, I don't like the yellow glass. But thanks anyways.

if you scroll down to the "exterior" section you will see it
Nope, we dont even have that much accessories like you Canucks have. We dont have no tow hitch, we definitely dont have the spoiler that is offered there. We also dont have park pilot (unless in the gulf states) and a few other things.
