i have a 96 camry LE with a 2200 4 cyl engine. it's not firing. i have bought a new coil and distribtor for it but it still will not fire. the distributor is used. are there anything else beside this or bad wiring that can cause this. i say this because it was runing fine until yesterday, my wife drove it to get something to get and she didn't make back home. it started running really bad then just quit.thaks for any help.

the igniter is located at the side of driver strut tower, silver square box near the air box.

here are several things that happen to me in the past w/ my 94 5sfe if anything you need to diagnose:

1. ignition wire
2. ECU temp sensor (2 wire)
3. EGR valve
4. condensor coil cause ign faulty (burnt, locate inside distri housing)
5. pick up coil inside of the distri housing failed
