Finally had to say goodbye to the old blue '86. (sniff) I've had this truck nearly half of my life. Never missed a day of work 'cause it wouldn't start. Never once got stuck in snow or mud. Lot's of scrapes and bloody knuckles keeping it ship shape. All worth it. 347K miles. Rebuilt the motor at 314K. New rear diff. 2 tranny rebuilds. New factory bed in '99. Meticulously POR 15'd the frame. I could go on and on. The new owner is very happy. Given that this truck has no airbags, or crumple zones, and I have more family these days, I had to be smart and pass it on. A sad day.
