i think that might be since the aw11 flex plate is an 8 bolt and won't fit the 4afe

 

That I don't know, what about diameter of the ring gear for the starter.

 

that part i dont know either but im assuming it would be the same since toyota wouldn't wanna make so many different starters

 

Do you have the p/n of the torque converter you want to use?
Almost to the point of seeing both in person. Not sure the torque converter bolt pattern will mean much if it's between a 6 or 8 bolt flext plat. In the past the 8 bolt has neen a problem finding for any job that needed a new one.

 

I don't have a part number but it is from an 89 corolla sr5. After some ebay browsing apparently the same torque converter is used for mr2 and loads of other toyotas like my corolla or even a newer pontiac vibe/matrix but I'm not sure how accurate that is but i think its enough to say that it will work just because of toyota being toyota and reusing the same parts on everything

 

Use this site and just find a part you need like the converter and put that p/n in the sites search box and it will show you what other Toyots used it.
