Adaptive Headlights?

Does anyone know if any of the trim levels of the GHL feature adaptive headlights? I was driving my wife's Mazda CX-5 GTR this morning and I saw the headlights move when I was turning and it prompted me to search to see if our allocated GHL will have them (Platinum Turbo Gas AWD). I can't seem to find any info online... Google is of no help.

It appears the Platinum Highlander trim has them, and there was a recent lawsuit of Rav4 owners claiming their window sticker indicated the feature was included, but apparently wasn't.

Anyone know for sure and know which trim levels?

I believe the name of the feature you are describing is AFS (Adaptive Front-lighting System).

Unfortunately, I don't see it listed anywhere in the Grand Highlander's Owner's manual:
Toyota 2024 Grand Highlander HV Owner's Manual USA and Canada Only (OM0E127U)
Toyota 2024 Grand Highlander Owner's Manual USA and Canada Only (OM0E126U)

If it were available, I would expect to see it in the manual.

For comparison, the regular Highlander 2023 Owner's manual. There is a section defining AFS and describing its function.
AFS (Adaptive Front-lighting System) (if equipped)
AFS (Adaptive Front-lighting System) secures excellent visibility at intersections and on curves by automatically adjusting the direction of the light axis of the headlights according to vehicle speed and the degree of the tire’s angle as controlled by steering input. AFS operates at speeds of 6 mph (10 km/h) or higher.

Per the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, the current Highlander headlights are rated "Good" only for the curve adaptive ones. The regular headlights are rated "Acceptable." See 2023 Toyota Highlander 4-door SUV - I sure hope Toyota did what they needed to do to earn another "Good" rating. The regular Highlander is rated as a "Top Safety Pick+" so we'll see what the IIHS thinks of the Grand Highlander.
p.s. I'm new here - what is the abbreviation "HiHy" from? I get that it's from "Highlander" but I'm just curious about its derivation.

Interesting. Right, not a huge feature, just one that I know seems pretty standard on upper trim models for many manufacturers today and it was strange I didn't see it anywhere in any of the specs. Just went through the feature comparison between Limited, Platinum and Hybrid Max Platinum and can't find a single mention of AFS anywhere. All it mentions for headlights is "LED headlights". 🤷‍♂️

I've got a Platinum Gas on the way and so far, there are only a few differences between the Platinum Gas and Platinum Hybrid Max that I've seen as far as non-powertrain features go. If you're sure you've got em, then here's hoping mine will too. If not, it's whatevs.
