I'm considering putting this on my '14 Corolla S; I would just like to hear some reviews of it first.

Specifically, I live in Canada so there will I'm wondering if there are any issues with snow, ice, rain, dirt, etc. hitting the filter or causing any issues? I was thinking about getting the bag to put over top of the filter to protect it from any water that might manage to find it's way to the filter. Anyways, let me know how your experience has been with it. Thanks.

Hi,

with the K&N I wouldn't worry too much about water or dirt or snow getting into the K&N filters. I had K&N short ram intake when I had my Mit. Lancer without any bags and it was fine during winter or summer. Never had water or dirt issues with the filter. Just the normal dusts that get collected. Plus the heat shield that comes with K&N will acts as shield from getting dirts or snow that are coming from the bottom. I would more worry about putting bags over the filter when you are going with cold air intake. The cold air intake usually drops down to the font bumper or the side fenders which will be more prone to get dirts or snow. With SIR, like Kn&N 69 series, I wouldn't too worry.
